Cadillac XT6 2022 has new Onyx Lite Package available, Cadillac Society has learned.

  • Note: all photos in this article show the XT6 with the regular Onyx pack and not the new Onyx Lite Pack, as photos of the vehicle equipped with the new pack are not yet available

The Onyx Lite package (production code PCP) is an optional set of exterior accents offered exclusively for the Cadillac XT6 Sport trim. It features all of the components included in the regular Onyx Package, with the exception of the Gloss Black grille (production code SJA), which is an LPO grade option and is installed at the dealer rather than at the factory.

  • Gloss Black (RXX) rear number plate application
  • Gloss Black (QJ5) front fascia applique
  • Gloss Black (VMP) exhaust bezel

Pricing for the Onyx Lite Plan is not yet available. In comparison, the regular Onyx Package costs $4,695 to complement the XT6 units in Luxury and Premium Luxury trims, and $4,095 in the Sport trim levels. Currently, the regular Onyx Plan is not available to order due to an undisclosed supplier issue. It’s unclear if the Onyx Plan will be available again for the 2023 model year, or if the Onyx Lite Plan will completely replace it.

As a reminder, the revamped Onyx Lite Package is only available for the Cadillac XT6 Sport, and is not yet available for other trim levels such as Luxury or Premium Luxury.

Just a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac XT6 is powered by two engine options. The 2.0L I4 turbocharged engine (production code LSY) has 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and is standard on the base Luxury trim level. The Premium and Sport trim levels feature a naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), which makes 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The XT6 was built at the Cadillac Spring Hill Plant in Tennessee. Prices for the base Luxury trim start at $49,790 for the Front-wheel-drive Luxury base trim.
