Ex-Michael Schumacher Mercedes C63 Wagon Is Up For Sale

[ad_1]

When Michael Schumacher joined the Mercedes GP Petronas Formula 1 Team in early 2010, he received the outstanding Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG as the company car. He drove it until late July of the same year and it was then sold to its second owner, a Swiss man who kept it until 2015. After changing ownership twice more, it will be sold by renowned auction house Bonhams in February. 3.

This is definitely a car with a rich history – it had covered 152,000 kilometers by the time it was photographed for this ad, which is roughly 94,450 miles. According to the description, it has always been properly maintained with genuine spare parts and is said to be in excellent technical and visual condition. The last owner, who acquired it in 2018, has installed new tires on all four corners and has performed all necessary services at a local Mercedes-Benz dealer.

The generation C-Class W204 was produced between 2007 and 2015 with the C63 being the most powerful version. Under the hood of the black wagon sits a 6.2-liter 32-valve V8 engine, producing 450 horsepower (336 kilowatts) and 443 pound-feet (600 Newton-meters) of torque. Power only reaches the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic gearbox. On paper, acceleration from 0-60 miles per hour (0-96 kilometers per hour) takes about four seconds.

From what we see in the attached gallery, there are some small things that could be improved, at least from the visual aspect of the speedy wagon. The headlights look a little foggy and the paint on the front fascia has a few scratches on the clear coat. The leather on the driver’s seat isn’t perfect either, but admittedly, these are all easy fixes.

Price? Bonhams expects to see numbers between €50,000 and €100,000, or $56,524 and $113,050 at current exchange rates. Despite its relatively high mileage, this car certainly has an attractive appearance, old-school V8 power, and a matching pedigree.
